Our 8th grade science curriuculum is based on self-paced online interactive activities, hands-on labs, and teacher demonstrations.  Students will be using the Gizmos interactive lessons as well as many other excellent sources of online content to build proficiency toward the 21st Century Science Process Skills.  Our units of study will include Scientific Method/Chemistry/Human Biology/Geology/Astonomy/Physics/Robotics/ and Crime Scene Investigation.  Students will take assessments online and will be creating their own ongoing website to showcase their work.  Parents can view their child's website online (your child can show you how to get there)!  All online content can be found on the pages of this website (myscience8.com).
